I'm so heartbroken with the passing of my friend and battle buddy. My deepest sympathy and condolences go out to all of his family, friends, and comrades. I served with Rich for nearly 3 years at Fort Hood. He was a remarkable officer, logistician, and person. He could always make you smile even when work or stress were very difficult. Words cannot truly express how much Rich meant to me and how much I appreciated his friendship. I will never forget him but i will always miss him. Rest now, my friend and brother. Make them smile in Heaven like you made so many smile on Earth.
