Obituary for Bette Malits (Kolman)
Bette Malits (nee Kolman), beloved wife of the late Bernard Malits, sister of Ron (Belle) Kolman, mother of Jeffrey Malits, Steven (Dawn) Malits, Paulette (Jeff) Bizar; Grandma Bette to Jack, Ben, Dylan and Darien. Bette made everyone she came in contact with feel extraordinarily special and her children and grandchildren were the light of her life.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Josh’s Hot Dogs in Northbrook. Josh’s has been working hard with the community to feed our healthcare workers, stock food pantries, and help struggling families. He will use all monies donated to help others. Bette would love to help support the nurses, doctors, hospital staff and anyone in need, so joining forces with Josh’s seemed perfect.
Due to the pandemic and out of concern for our extended family and friends, services and shiva will be private.
