My deepest condolences and sympathy go out to Rachael and to Brett’s family in this very difficult time. I have know Brett since my senior year of high school and became great friends with Rachael through him. We all spent a lot of good times partying and celebrating in the early years of our 20s. The last time I saw Brett was in 2017 when my sister and I were able to spend time with Rachael and Brett in Key West. I believe he was very happy during this time as he and Rachael were spending a lot of time on the sea doo, exploring and enjoying Florida. It’s hard to believe he’s gone but I truly believe he’s in a better place and happy. He will be missed but will live on in the fun and fond memories that were made throughout his life. Sending love and prayers for peace to Rachael and Bretts entire family.

Deepest sympathy to our daughter Rachael on the loss of Brett. We loved him dearly. I remember a few days before your wedding our son James was only 4 and at a gathering went running over to Brett calling him. Brett scooped him up in his arms. His friends asked who James was and Brett replied "it's my brother in law". James then said I now have a brother. He would tell people he had a brother. When he returned to school in September he told his teacher he had a new brother. The teacher looked at me strangely and at 46 I had to explain I didn't have another baby but he now had a brother in law. Brett was so good with kids and would always entertain them. James loved the summer he stayed with you aged 7 and you took him to Lake Geneva. Like Brett, James loved the water and spent so many days out on the water. Brett made wonderful pancakes but insisted they needed to be perfect, whilst James would just want to eat them no matter what shape they were! We will miss him.

Alyn and Jay and family,
Lew and I are heartbroken to hear of Brett’s passing.
We still picture him as a little boy, romping around the neighborhood, always on the move. I think David and Allan recently reconnected with him at the BG reunion.
May his name be of a blessing always.

I remember the little boy that would come over and bake cookies with me. He stood on a little stool because he was too short to reach the counter!! I am so sad!!
