Dear Doctor Family,
I am John Ciezarek. Steve and I were best friends when you lived on Karlov. My family was on Kedvale, across the alley from you. After you moved to Wilmette, we kind of lost touch, though I do recall visiting there on several occasions.
Let me express my sympathy for the loss of your mother. I remember her as smart, cultured, and dedicated to her family. Many times I was over to your house, and many times I saw what a good mother she was. Certainly she must have had a positive influence on all of you.
I want you to know that I have strong memories of those old days from the early 1960s. Lots of fun, lots of laughs. It was a great place to live. Really, this was the happiest time of my life, and our friendship played a big part in that.
Steve, Bruce, Jenny, Annie, Dr. Doctor - through the sadness, I wish you well.

Fondly remembering my late mother's favorite cousin Carol. Sending love and sincere condolences to her family and cherishing special time spent with her. I was happy to be able to 'attend' the beautiful funeral service from my home in Jerusalem. May her Memory Be a Blessing! Cousin Terry Cohen Hendin

Please know that the Gibbs Family is thinking about the four amazing Doctor offspring as you gather for remembrances of your mother. Each of you no doubt have differing memories of those formative years in the house on Avondale Lane. As neighbors, we were in awe of the amazing musical and ballet talent that emanated from your home. As a relatively new mother when we moved to Hollywood Ct, I once asked your mother what her advice was for raising four such outstanding children. Her answer will not surprise you, she said: “keep your children very, very busy”. As you reflect on your time growing up and through the years, remember in your mother’s heart, you were all special.
