Mr. Rosenfeld was one of my cherished consultants during my PhD program at ICSW. I credit him with a part of my self image as a psychotherapist. I treasured the hours he shared with me talking about cases and about the practice at large. He was an example, a mentor, and a teacher. I should be as good a teacher someday! Always calm, quiet, and kind, he demonstrated his teaching methods through each moment of quiet listening and reflection. He was an example to all of us and I consider myself lucky to have had the opportunity to work with him. Sincerely, Leah Harp, LCSW Ph.D., ICSW Board Member, City Elementary Board Member

May Danny's Memory Be A Blessing to You ALL - We remember him fondly as someone filled with calm, integrity, and kindness. Shabbat dinners with Monte & Sophie (z"l) in Evanston, Hebrew school carpool and as a mensch among us. Sending heartfelt condolences to Margaret, Judy and Paul and their families.

I am so sorry for your loss of Daniel. I was privileged to be part the bridge group that Dan played in for many years, first in each others' homes, and later at the Mather in Wilmette. Dan and Margaret were always very welcoming hosts to their home. Dan was a great partner to have at the bridge table, because he was a true gentleman, supportive and tolerant of others' mistakes, but an excellent player himself. I love the picture you chose for the enclosed memorial. His smile reminds me of the genuine friend that he was to everyone, communicating his friendship in a positive but low-key way. I hate the fact that he is denied a memorial service at this time, but if someone told him of this, he would have said, "so it goes". Dan is a lovely person, who I will always remember.

Condolences on your loss. Dan will be long remembered by his students and patients and colleagues. He was my teacher at ICSW and colleague on the board if the IL Society of Clinical Social Work, of which he was president. I valued his professional advise and admired his intellect. I was not surprised to learn that he had been admitted to the University of Chicago at, I believe, age 16. My only negative experience with Dan was once when riding with him to a professional meeting; he was a terrible driver! Perhaps this was due to the interesting stories he was telling. Lola Himrod
