Condolence: Hello Susie, David and Adam~ I'm so sorry to hear of Fred's passing. Working at his office in Buffalo Grove was my first job at 15, and my only job for over 8 years as he expanded the practice. He was a great deal of fun, and in fact I just pulled out a picture taken on Halloween one of those years, and there he is dressed as a tube of toothpaste = ) The memories are many and I'm glad I got to be a part of his world and he, mine. Much Love and Peace to you all, Cecilia Manst-Krask

Condolence: Fred: When you and I met our first day of residency we spoke of where we had been and where we eventually wanted to go. When we last spoke in July we spoke of where we had been and where we wanted to go. I had just been photographing butterflies at the Botanic Garden so we shared our image gathering techniques. I hope you have more time now to look at and accumulate images of butterflies. I also hope you get a seat with a great view of Addison and Clark this weekend. You, Ron and Ernie will be looking down on to one heck of a party.

Condolence From: The Glezer Family
Condolence: Two years ago I gave birth to my daughter. I was intent on breastfeeding, but was having an incredibly difficult time. With the recommendations of the Breastfeed Chicago FB group, Jeanne Cygnus of Cygnus Lactation services and my family dentist, Dr. Kacel, they all pointed me to Dr. Margolis to get her checked for a lip and tongue tie. At 6 weeks old we had the procedure done. He was an amazing and kind hearted man and put my mind at ease. His waiting room was filled to the brim, with mamas just like me. Within weeks of the procedure nursing got easier, less painful and less stressful. Without Dr. Margolis, I wouldnt have been able to continue nursing. My daughter Olivia is 2 now. And still nurses. May his memory always be of joy. For us, it will always be of gratitude as well.

Condolence From: Darcy and Alan Gans
Condolence: Dear Margolis Family, At this time of overwhelming sorrow, I hope you may be able to recall some of the "beautiful smiles" Dr. Fred helped create during the course of his life's work. There's so much sadness here in Buffalo Grove today, where countless families remember your husband and father as part of the "village it takes to raise a child." On a more personal note, our son, Andrew, has shared so many heartwarming stories of this brilliant, kind and generous man. It our prayer that his pain is now over, and he can rest in peace following a life so very well lived.
