Dr. Harvey Stanford Benveniste, 73, passed away on Monday, July 6th, 2020, in Mississippi. Harvey was born on September 21st, 1946 in Chicago, IL to Jack and Charlotte (Annenberg) Benveniste.
Harvey was an esteemed, retired pediatrician. Throughout his career he had practices in California; Fort Madison, IA; Galesburg, IL; and Houston, MS. He touched many lives throughout his career and took pride in being a phenomenal physician.
In his spare time Harvey enjoyed bowling, golfing and growing in his Christian faith. He also enjoyed taking his daughter, Alyssa, on many travels throughout the country as she grew up.
He was the cherished father of Alyssa (Matthew) Moran. Very proud grandfather of Ava, Chloe, and Bennett Moran. Loving brother of Barry (the late Esther) Benveniste. Dear uncle of Amber (Joel) Grafman and Eric (Heather) Benveniste, and great-uncle to Julian, Cameron, Scarlett and Garrett. Proud nephew of Richard Annenberg. Devoted son of the late Charlotte and Jack Benveniste. Cherished cousin and friend to many.
