Obituary for Edgar Allen Blumenfeld
Born in Chicago in 1926, Edgar A. Blumenfeld died September 11, 2023 leaving a great number of grieving friends and family. He was a practicing attorney from 1951 until he grudgingly retired at 95 years of age. He is preceded in death by his sister Syril, his wife Diane, her son Dean and a great number of his closest friends and family. He leaves behind three children and their spouses, Clifford (Audrey), Jeffrey (Susan) Blumenfeld and Andrea (Phillip) Schreiber, his three grandchildren, Benjamin, Sarah and Katherine two grandchildren by marriage, Rachel and Whitney, his brother David (Roberta), countless nieces and nephews and his dear friend Angie. His loss is inestimable. Graveside funeral Sunday, Sept 17th, 11 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery's mausoleum chapel, 9900 Gross Point Rd., Skokie. Interment to follow.
