On Monday November 9th,2020 Jay M Silver loving brother and uncle passed away suddenly at age 58.
Jay was born June 9th ,1962 in Chicago to Marvin and Rose(Gruber)Silver.Jay went to area Skokie schools growing up and Oakton Community College and Triton College where Jay took computer and culinary courses and worked in the food industry in many capacities throughout his career. Jay had a passion and love of the cubs. Jay loved most sports and enjoyed watching or going to many games throughout his life.Jay loved fishing ,seeing a good flick ,going to theatre productions and enjoying a good concert joined by family and friends .Jay was know for his quick wit when on a roll and huge smile that would light up any room .Jay was a kind and compassionate spirit. Jay will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing and loving him. Jay is survived by his loving sisters Sister Dr. Ellen (Edwin Horrell) Silver-Horrell, Sheila (Charles) Silver-Brown, Sandra (Corey) Stricker ,Rachel (Edward) Solger, Ilene (Steven) Kaye and adored Nieces and nephews Jonathan Horrell, Michael Brown, Jennifer Brown, Amy Stricker, Dr. Shane Solger, Jared Solger, Arielle Kaye and fond cousin and friend to many. Private family graveside services will be held at Westlawn in Norridge Thursday November 12th at 12:00 Noon.
