Joan was my father’s sister in law. She was always a very kind, generous and loving mother. She will definitely be missed.

Joan lives on in my memory dating back to when we were children. As my oldest cousin, I always looked up to her as a bright and thoughtful member of the Footlik/Schultz clan. She was kind and someone I looked forward to visiting with at our family gatherings. Jackie and I remember our times together with loads of kids around enjoying the tumult. Joan and Jackie were both pregnant at the same time (Karla and Beth) and shared special times together. We are sorry that the last 20 years have taken us from Chicago but loved getting together with Susan and her family and sharing visits when the Krones made it down to Atlanta. Our thoughts are with you all at this time. Please know that we are with you all and accept our heartfelt sympathy.
With love, Jackie and Jay

I have very fond memories of my cousin tutoring me as I was growing up. It was always great to have Thanksgiving dinner at my Aunt Bettys and Uncle Sams house and there was Joany always asking me how my schooling was.
