Obituary for Marian Lynn Schwartz
Marian Lynn Schwartz, 62, of Westminster California, born & raised in Oak Park, IL, passed away November 3, 2023. Beloved daughter of the late James L and Francine A Schwartz, she is survived by her brothers Daniel (Yanan) and Stephen L (Terry) Schwartz. Loved dearly by her many nephews and nieces, Samuel (Rose Traubert) Schwartz, Charlie (Taylor) Schwartz, Sari Schwartz, Allison Schwartz (Scott McDowell), and Dana (Michael) Springer; along with many cousins and dear friends. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin which she embraced in her daily life through owning everything Red! Her many four-legged Corgi “children” were always near and dear to her heart. As a lifelong member of the So Cal Corgi Nation, she never missed Corgi Beach Day and the annual holiday parade. A “lifer” manager at Hyatt Corporation, she retired in 2015 giving her the opportunity to spend the summers in Wisconsin’s Northwoods at her home in Boulder Junction and as a frequent visitor to Chippewa Ranch camp where she spent 17 years as a camper/counselor. Funeral Tuesday November 7th, 12 Noon CST at Oak Park Temple, 1235 N. Harlem Avenue, Oak Park. Interment Waldheim Cemetery, Forest Park.
