Mark Tamarchenko, age 87. Beloved husband of Vera, née Kozlova; cherished father of Tatyana (the late Wade) Roberts; loving grandfather of Sonya Bogdanova (fiancé Joseph Steppan). Mark, known as Marik by his friends and loved ones, loved chess, tanning, eating, reading, politics, philosophy, and action movies. In Moscow, he was a coal mining engineer and traveled all around the USSR for work. He had a profound thirst for life and was a social butterfly. Mark was a great judge of character, and thus, excelled at humor and wit. We miss him and feel lucky to have had him in our lives.
