Muriel Lederer, nee Natenberg, age 91. Beloved wife of the late Frederick E. Lederer; cherished mother of Jill (John) Doherty, William (Renda) Lederer, and Margaret "Peggy" (Marc) Blum; loving grandmother of Robert, Edward "Ned" and Sarah (James Svenstrup) Doherty, Adam and Eric Lederer, Joshua, Davis, and Chloe Blum; dear sister of Carol Cohen and Phyllis Levin. Best-selling author, national newspaper columnist, pioneering female executive, community leader, outstanding friend, devoted wife, mother, aunt and grandmother, tennis and bridge player, proud Vassar and New Trier alumna and volunteer, ASJA, PRSA, ESC, NSSC board member. Due to COVID-19, in-person funeral service attendance will be limited, but it can be viewed live Friday, April 2nd at 10:30 AM CST and the interment can be viewed at 12 PM CST on Muriel’s webpage at www.mitzvahfunerals.com. The family will also have Shiva gatherings by Zoom on Friday afternoon April 2nd at 2 PM CST and Saturday evening April 3rd at 7 PM CST at https://amshalom.zoom.us/j/82191414593.
