Obituary for Noah Zeitmann

Noah Zeitmann, age 92, of Chicago, died of natural causes at home on August 29th, 2022. Born March 27th, 1930 to Harry and Bella (nee Pikelny) Zeitmann. After receiving his BS in 1951 from Northwestern University, Noah served in the Navy as an instructor in military justice. His business career encompassed drug store operations with his family followed by investments in the petroleum industry and stock market. Noah was a noted notaphilist, specializing in US currency. Noah was preceded in death by his cherished twin brother Bernard, who he lived with for 86 years of his life, and by his parents and sisters Anne (the late Meyer) Siegel and Vivian (the late Eugene) Clyman. He is survived by his nieces Selma (Caleb) Melamed and Marilyn (David) Zeller; nephew Shayel Siegel and nieces Leah (Martin) Goldman, Rochelle (Ephraim) Tatelbaum and the late Fraydelle (survived by Gerald) Goldson plus great-nephews and great-nieces. Funeral service Wednesday, August 31st, 1:30PM at Waldheim Cemetery, IOBA section, gate #53, Des Plaines Ave., South of Roosevelt Rd in Forest Park.
