Beloved husband of the late Erica Brief, nee Greenbaum, for 57 years. Cherished father of Dena (Jerry) Wald, David (Hazel) Brief and Debra (Bruce) Hoffen. Devoted grandfather of Joel (Debra) Wald and Naomi (Scott) Warren, Nava (Yehoshua) Fried, Micha (Noa) Brief, Yasmina (Odelia) Brief-Maliach, Libi (Noam) Alush, Aviel (Rivka) Brief, Yona Brief, Sara and Frances Hoffen, and great-grandchildren Ella, Eitan, Gefen, Maya, Xander, Neta and Liam; Dear brother of Seymour (Elaine) Brief; Dear brother-in-law of the late Joann "Honey" Greenbaum and the late Selma (Charlie) Ochs; Fond uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral service Tuesday Jan 30th, 11 AM at Ezra-Habonim, the Niles Township Jewish Congregation 4500 Dempster Street, Skokie. Interment to follow at Shalom Memorial Park.
