Condolence From: Ian Lapidus-Saltz
Condolence: I had the pleasure of spending time with Dick at Old Town School of Folk Music Memory Singers over the past 3 years. Dick was a wonderful storyteller and a nice man. He always told me that his teachers didn't want him to sing, but he sounded pretty good to me.
Dick loved baseball and especially the Cubs. I'll think of him every time our class sings "Take Me Out to the Ball Game".
I'll also think of him every time I eat salmon. He loved talking about fishing, tennis, and Italy.
May he rest in peace. May his family know that he brought joy to others.
