Rita Mae Leopold Kanter, 89, of Scottsdale, Arizona passed away peacefully, January 23rd, 2024. Rita was the wife of the late Irwin Kanter and daughter of the late Jacob and Ruth Leopold. Sister of the late Sidney, Milton, Bernard and Helen. Mother of Ruth (William) Fowler, George Kanter and Robert (Shauna) Kanter. Loving Bubbie to Michelle (Kevin) Healy, Rebecca Fowler (Fiancée of Steven Bjankini), Deborah Fowler (Fiancée of Edward Kimball) and Benjamin Fowler. Proud Great Grandmother of Faith, Cecilia, Noelle, Tyler and Mallory Healy. Graduate of Roosevelt High School class of 1951. Family graveside services will be held Tuesday January 30th, 2:30 PM at Waldheim Cemetery.
