After moving away from Chicago during the middle of 7th grade, you were one of the few people I had kept in touch with. I will never forget all the sports we played together, both organized and non-organized. I was always jealous and looked up to you, because you beat me nearly every time. I always strived and practiced to become as good as you, whether it be in basketball, football, or soccer. I never was able to accomplish that. I always admired your positive attitude in tough situations, authentic caring for others, drive to succeed, you always being yourself no matter what, and your intelligence. You were the complete package and I admired and looked up to you for it. The world lost a truly remarkable human being, but your life will always be celebrated and remembered by all of the people who knew and cared for you. I know I learned a lot about how to live a fulfilling life from you as I am sure others have too. Your life and memories will live on with those who knew you. Even though your life was wrongfully cut short, you still lived a very full life, more so than a lot of other people will in their lifetime. Your energy will live on forever. Cancer may have taken you away from us, but cancer still lost the battle to you. It will never take away all the good that you did and what you will be remembered for. Rest in peace my childhood friend. May you find happiness without any more suffering. I will always have fond memories of you and will never forget you.

We are so sorry for your loss. Stanton was an amazing person. The first time we met him was for Easter at our house. He made himself comfortable with our loud family, he walked around without his shoes and just seemed to join in as if he was born to our family. You could see the love he had for Colleen and life. He will be greatly missed.
Our prayers are with the entire Bohmbach family during this difficult time. May you find the strength to move forward knowing that you have the support and love from many friends and family. God bless Stanton and grant him eternal peace.
