Obituary for Martin Edward Siegel
MARTIN EDWARD SIEGEL, 71,
December 21, 1944-August 25, 2016. A lifelong resident of Chicago. “It’s better to give than to take” and “think before you act and you will not regret your choices” according to Marty. Growing up in Rogers Park, attended Von Steuben High School, Loop and Mayfair Junior Colleges. Marty is survived by his children Jonathon (Lisa) Siegel and Rachel (fiancée Matt Lewis). Granddaughter Sienna Sky Siegel and brother Marc (Jan) Siegel. Former husband of Sharon Kabiller.
Memorial gathering Monday, 4 pm until 7pm at The Simkins Funeral Home, 6251 W. Dempster St. Morton Grove. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marty’s name to Jewish Child & Family Services, 216 W. Jackson Blvd. Suite 800, Chicago, IL 60606, would be appreciated.
