I never had the chance to personally meet Bernie, but I feel like I knew him because of the wonderful stories David and Mariko told me. I know he will be greatly missed.
To the Family of Dear Bernie Cohen as I referred to him. I was very moved by the passing of your dad. He will always be remembered by me with the biggest smile I ever knew a person to have. I always use to shop at Cragins Dept. Store and always made visit just to see him and your mom. Once I left from the area and moved so far west I really never made it back there but I did see him when your mom passed. I so wish I could be there to pay my final respects but due to all this rain I have been stuck in the house due to Fybromalgia and other ailments. I will be with all of you mentally and will join in prayers in my home during the time all will take place. I will make a visit to the cementary once the weather gives up a little. Please accept my deepest Condolences once again. We have lost a very wonderful person here on earth and Our Superior has gained a wonderful angel with the biggest smile I have ever known and a big heart too. My love to all of you. And thank you too to Bob Friedman for letting me know.
