Family and friends of Ed Goldberg, my name is Jackie Farmer, I worked with Ed at the Cherokee County Courthouse in Centre, Alabama, Ed was a dear friend, and he I liked to sing. We would sing and entertain folks from time to time who came in the courthouse. I remember a lady who came in and we were singing Amazing Grace, she stopped and listened, and when we were through singing, tears were streaming down her face. That touched Ed and I that we both were misty eyed. I have some good memories of Ed. To the family I want to say, may the peace of God that passes all understanding, guard your hearts and mind in Christ Jesus at this time. Blessings to you!

Uncle Dewey,
I had so many great memories of you growing up. I will never forget my mother yelling at you as you kept digging in her pots to taste her food (5 or 6 times) to make sure it was worthy for the rest of us to eat! Lol
Sleeping over at your house on the weekends and helping you clean, and then you would take me shopping! You always had something funny to say and make all us kids laugh. You will never be forgotten!
We love you!

Uncle Dewey, you will be missed terribly. My Mother loved you so much more than you may ever have known.

When You moved to Alabama, we didn't communicate as much as we would have liked to. You may have been out of sight when you lived there, however, not out of mind.

I have many fond memories of you, one that really stands out in my mind is going to Maxwell Street with you. You bought me a birthstone ring that I still have an will treasure always.

I will always remember the harmonica as well. Rest in Peace, my Dear Uncle, Rest in Peace.

We Love You Always,
Mick, Linda, & Lee
