We only knew Erica for a few days, the last days of her life when she and Rabbi Neil were on the cruise boat. We loved being with her - her serenity, her happiness, the love she and Rabbi Neil shared all made her a loved person on our cruise. Everyone was so saddened by her sudden passing. We want her family and friends all over the world to know that she was having such a good time when she was called 'home'. So many people showed so much respect and sympathy for Rabbi Neil and Erica's family. She was respectfully mourned and prayed for by so many. We were very privileged to be invited to a Jewish service to celebrate Erica's life. We hope that, with the passing of time, her family and friends can rejoice in all of their good memories as they come to terms with her passing. With Love and prayers. John and Faye Conley
So sorry to hear about Mrs. Brief's passing. I have nothing but good memories of her when you were our rabbi at VCJC Temple Beth Torah in Ventura, CA. I'm blessed to have known her. May she rest in peace.
My most heartfelt condolences to you, Rabbi, and your family on the loss of such a beloved wife, mother and beautiful human being. Erica remained a true "Southern Belle" in every phase of her life. Her warmth, charm, and sociability even made her the "light of the locker room" at Weber Health Center. Losing her leaves a profound absence in all the lives she touched throughout the years.
So very sorry to hear of Erica's death. We shared many happy times on trips to Eastern Europe and to Scandinavia.
She was a smart, vivacious and lovely lady.
My heart goes out to Neil and family.
