I had the privilege working along side of Jay as his Moderator on Disabled Online for the last four years. A day never passed that we did not communicate with one another. Not only did I lose a friend the whole disabled community lost a brother. I love and miss you Jaybird.
What fabulous memories I have of Jay! It was my privilege to have been Jay's third grade teacher at Wescott Elementary in Northbrook. Jay would enter our classroom with an engaging smile, a sense of humor an a vast intelligence. He seem to truly enjoy learning and loved being with his friends and he had many. I will always remember this wonderful student and shall miss him. My wishes of deepest sympathies come with this message. Mary Grant
Cindy Morical, Jay's TA from kindergarten to middle school.
Jay, we had so many wonderful growing years together at Wescott School; never a complaint and so smart and popular with the other students. You will always be in our hearts. The Morical Family
Jay, I’ll always remember you from junior high and camp and your quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. It was nice to reconnect so many years later on Facebook and to see what you have been up to all these years. I’ve always thought, the next time I’m in Vegas, I should contact you. I’m sorry that I will not get that chance. You will be missed.
Thank you for coming into my life Jay. You are remembered as a loving and caring boy and young man and now God will have your smile and I will keep you in my heart.
Jay was a true "mensch" He was bright, humorous and full of life. He made a difference in our world and i will always remember Jay for his wit and great smile.
Jay's wit & charm were one of a kind. He was a very honest forward person, which added to his charm. He was determined, successful, persevered & didn't let anything stand in his way! He left an impact on our entire Horizon family! So glad I had a chance to have him as part of my life! Truly an inspirational person!
