Memories Upon Memories

I remember all the times that I would get in Aunt Wendy's car when I was younger to go see Great Grandma. She would always have toys for me to play with. I was explained to by everyone that its, "Not everyday someone can meet and talk to their great grandmother." I never took this for granted. Every opportunity I had I would go see her with Aunt Wendy and Josh. As I got older so did my siblings Magen and Jake. They got to share in these experiences with me. I specifically remember a time where she would not let us stop eating and insisted we have snacks even though we had JUST had lunch. I understood and appreciated everything this woman has done for me. She is an inspiration to myself. She was strong, funny, optimistic, always smiling and telling me I needed to smile. I will keep smiling for her and for myself. I hope to one day reach her level of inspiration and become as much of a great grandfather as she was an amazing great grandmotrher.
