Marvin I. Beskin, age 87. Beloved husband of Syril, nee Speyer. Cherished and loving father of Jay Beskin, Alison (Neal) Gordon and Nancy Beskin and the late Sydney Jaffe. Proud grandfather of Louis and Julianna Gordon. Devoted son of the late Allen and Rose Beskin, and loving nephew of the late Louis, David and Sidney Beskin. Dear friend and relative of many. Marv was a star basketball player and Hall of Famer for Sullivan HS and a Big Ten tennis champion for Northwestern. He served in the Navy as a navigator during World War II. Retired CPA and partner of GrantThornton, and CFO at Pankow Associates. Memorial Service Monday 3 pm at Chicago Sinai Congregation, 15 West Delaware Place, Chicago.
