Samuel “Sammy” Glickstein, 90, beloved husband for 58 years of Ida Mae, nee Golub. Adored daddy of Jackie (David) Feinartz and Don (Janice)Glickstein. Loving Grandpa Sam of Lauren (Daniel) Smekhov, Falynn (Jason) Baum, Steven Feinartz, Lee Glickstein and Carly Glickstein, and proud great-grandpa of Ilyssa Lena Smekhov. Devoted brother of Goldie (the late Bernie) Geier, and the late Morrie (the late Ethel) Glickstein and the late Sidney Glickstein who is survived by his wife, Esther. Sam proudly served this country in WWII as part of the 87th Chemical Mortar Battalion, landing on Utah Beach in France on D-Day June 6, 1944. Sam and his brother created A & M Trucking Co. with locations in Chicago and Florida for over 35 years. Graveside services Friday 11:00 A.M. at Sunset Memorial Lawns Cemetery, 3100 Shermer Rd.
