Your mom was a special lady to many and especially me. You should be very proud to call her "mom". Her children were her number one priority.. I miss her very much. Thinking of you at this time. Love you all.

My Aunt Shirley was a kind and generous person and a wonderful mother and aunt. She really knew what it meant to live and laugh and love. I looked up to her because she treated her children with utmost respect, love, and encouragement and that is a rare and beautiful gift which translated directly into their lives. Shirley was her own woman and a woman of honor, respect, and joy. Life is not easy for anyone and she and my mother both faced their challenges but she hunkered through them with smiles and laughter and tears. She lived life and loved and her smile radiates over me when I think about her. A smile is said to change a life that a smile can even save a life and Shirley had a beautiful smile!

A wonderful mother, wife and women. All are so sad about her passing-but she gave us all inspiration to be the person that all should be. Though it is extremely sad that she was taken by God to give her confort and peace-We will always celebrate her life.

Since I can't be there in person to pay my condolences, I wanted to send my love and warm thoughts from far away via internet... It's never easy losing someone we love, but I'd like to think that we'll see them again. In our dreams, maybe in our next life time... But one thing I've learned is that they live on forever in our hearts. I know that Shirley will be greatly missed, but she will never be forgotten.

To my unforgettable aunt I light a digital candle for you, which you would laugh at, but you know every year, I will run to the grocery store and find that yizkor candle and light it for you on your special day. you are truly amazing --every image I have of you is your beautiful face smiling at me full of encouragement and determination. I love you Aunt Shirley. your journey has been amazing and the people you have touched speaks volumes about your life. Like you always said to me - "Penny, just like Cher said "This ain't no rehearsal" so enjoy every minute of it and live it to the fullest.
