Shirley Rose Margulis, nee Minus , passed away one day after celebrating her 94th birthday with her loving family. Longtime resident of Gidwitz Place Friend Center. Beloved wife of the late Harvey. Loving mother of Ilene (Richard) Olswang, Leslie (Annie) Margulis and Brian (Christine) Margulis. Devoted grandmother of Dan, Marc (Stacy), Brad (Aliza) Olswang, Darren (Debbie), Rory (Heather), Ryan (Debbi), Lauren and Alyssa Margulis (fiance Simon Anderson) and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services Friday 12 Noon at Northbrook Community Congregation, 2548 Jasper Court (NE corner of Willow and Landwehr) Northbrook. Interment Westlawn Cemetery. Contributions in Shirley’s name to “Yaakov’s Kosher Pantry” at Lurie Children’s Hospital thru Chai Lifeline, 6600 N. Lincoln Ave., Lincolnwood, IL 60712 would be appreciated.
