Condolences

Condolence From: Francine Brill
Condolence: Dear Geri and the Kaiserman clan, Our deepest sympathies for the loss of Stuart. He had a kind heart and a love of family. He often called me honey or sweetheart which I loved and always asked about how everyone was doing. I know all of you have your own very special memories that we hope will give you strength during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love from Francine, Jeff, Michael, Ely and Abby

Condolence: Though I have not seen Stuart in, perhaps, three or four years, I have known him since he first walked into my book shop, certainly 35 years ago. He loved collecting antiquarian books on Lincoln and the Civil War and amassed an impressive library. We had great fun talking books and historical events. When he finally decided to sell that collection (actually his first of two), he called me and I came over to see him (we both live(d) in Highland Park). But what I'll always have is the smell of that collection, infused with the pipe he smoked in his library. My office smelled that smell for months! --I cannot again be around a pipe without thinking fondly of Stuart. I miss his curiosity and companionship in the historical world. My condolences and deep wishes that his memory shall be a blessing.

Condolence: I will always have such fond memories of visiting Highland Park in the summers and Stuart taking us all for hot dogs, to the movies and to play video games. When Stuart came to Toronto the two of us spent time together driving downtown to his favourite shops. Stuart lives on in our hearts forever.

Condolence: Dear Cousins, it's with sadness and love that I send this note to you. I have such incredible memories of Stuart in the few times we met. He welcomed me without question and always took such an interest in my work and my family. He was a great guy and we will all miss him dearly. Love Dave and family.
