Condolence From: Florence Adebiyi (Vitas RN)
Condolence: Ms. Grauer was such a beautiful soul. Just being around her filled the atmosphere with so much love and happiness. There was never a dull moment with her. At her age she had times where she wanted to do things on her own and I would just think, wow.. this lady is so strong and independant. She loved everyone almost as much as she loved her grandchildren. She would never stopped talking about her children, especially her grandchildren. Thanks Terrie so much for informing me of this news. It really means a lot. I will never forget the most kindhearted elder I've ever met, "The Lady With The Hat" lol.
We miss you Ms. Shirley Grauer -Vitas Team

Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. My parents and myself grew up with your Mom on the South side. Then my Dad lived in the same Assisted Living facility for many years. I had the pleasure to see your Mom every week as she sat outside on the bench.. May she rest in Peace!!

Condolence From: Estelle Coffey (written by daughter Susan Fisher)
Condolence: We are so sad to learn that Shirley is no longer with us. My mom, Estelle Coffey, considers Shirley one of her very dearest and oldest friends. Theirs was a friendship of both quality and quantity. I so loved hearing the stories of their many trips and outings and how they laughed and laughed and laughed. Shirley is already missed. Please accept our condolences.
