Mitzvah Memorial Funerals is the only Chicago Jewish funeral business without chapels. We are able to pass along thousands of dollars in savings on a funeral services and casket because we don't have this overhead. Although our price is discounted, the services we offer are NOT!.
Our staff includes Lloyd Mandel. The Mandel family has been in the funeral business since Lloyd's great grandfather-Sam Gratch (father of Lloyd's grandmother Mollie Mandel) opened Gratch Undertaking in 1906 (later to become Gratch-Mandel).
